DA's Report

The following information was provided by Nye County District Attorney Bob Beckett. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent.

The following charges were brought against adults:

* Stephen James Alarid was charged with issuing checks without sufficient funds.

* Allison Anne Buczkowska was charged with basic speed and driving under the influence of alcohol.

* Roxanne Louise Decapua was charged with battery.

* Blair Vaughn Martin was charged with an offense involving stolen property.

* Margaret Padilla was charged with attempted murder.

The following charges were brought against juveniles.

* Four counts of burglary, grand larceny, criminal contempt, bomb threats prohibited, two counts of accessory to injuring or tampering with a vehicle, domestic battery, two counts of petit larceny and three counts of curfew for minors over 14.

The following cases found resolution in Pahrump District Court.

* Kyle Joseph Burrows, charged with attempted auto burglary and injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle, was found guilty and sentencing is set for Aug. 17 at 11 a.m.

* Sabrina Durkee, charged with attempted grand larceny, was found guilty and sentencing is set for Aug. 17 at 11 a.m.

* Robbin Ann McLennan, charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, was found guilty and sentenced to five years of probation with special conditions.

* Martin Meza-Bautista, charged with conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, was found guilty and sentenced to credit time served.

* Rhonda Ordonez, charged with attempted grand larceny, was found guilty and sentencing is set for Aug. 17 at 11 a.m.

* Raul Perez, charged with battery causing substantial bodily harm, was found guilty and sentenced to 19 to 48 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections.

* James Thomas Petel, charged with fraudulent acts, was found guilty and sentenced to five years of probation with special conditions.

* Denise Marie Reinacher, charged with misrepresentation to pharmacist to obtain a controlled substance, was found guilty and sentencing is set for Aug. 17 at 11 a.m.

* Steven Paul Salayi, charged with possession of a controlled substance, was found guilty and sentenced to five years of probation with special conditions.

* Cherylyn Marie Thomas, charged with two counts of attempted burglary and domestic battery-third offense, was found guilty and sentencing is set for July 13 at 11 a.m.

* Brian Richard Lee, charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and habitual criminal, was found guilty and sentenced to 19 to 48 months with time-served credit of 168 days for the two counts of possession with intent to sell, and 40 to 180 months for possession of a controlled substance, all with the Nevada Department of Corrections and to be served consecutively.

* Justin Robison, charged with two counts of battery upon a peace officer, was found guilty and sentencing is set for June 7 at 9 a.m.

* Scott Andrew Mills, charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance, was found guilty and sentencing is set for July 26 at 9 a.m.

* Daniel Lee Benner, charged with conspiracy to commit an offense involving stolen property, was found guilty and sentencing is set for July 26 at 9 a.m.
