Reasons for Running:

Dolan states the following reasons for running for town board: to ensure all residents, not just a few from special interest groups, have a voice and are treated fairly; to bring new businesses to town; to not only bring needed training to Pahrump for solar, wind and geo-thermal energy, but also businesses who can benefit from this technology; to keep Yucca Mountain open; and, to incorporate Pahrump so that taxes will come back to the town in its fair share.

Carolene Endersby

Family:

Endersby is married. She is a devoted mother and grandmother.

Education:

Endersby earned a BA Degree in Business Administration from the Pacific Southern University; an AA Degree in Business Administration from Coastline Community College; she was in Graduate Leadership in 2000 -- National University Personnel Practices from the University of California, Irvine and a graduate of school of mortgage banking and a sales course from Dale Carnegie Institute.

Reasons for Running:

"I am skilled in developing solutions to meet specific issues. I have the ability to communticate on diverse subjects bringing people together and encouraging consensus building. I am adept in stimulating cooperative efforts from those stakeholders entrenched in diverse views so that a consensus can be reached on difficult issues."

Harley Kulkin

Harley and wife Deanna have a son, Asa, and two daughters, Sarah and Kelsie. They have lived in Nevada since 1979.

Education:

Kulkin attended college and numerous trade schools.

Political Experience:

He has been a candidate for county commissioner.

Affiliations:

N/A

Reasons for Running:

"I am a candidate for town board because I possess proven qualities that are needed more than ever. As a town board member, I will work to make Pahrump proactive.

"The town of Pahrump has ignored the county's special interest controlled commissioners' destruction of our future. Pahrump must fight for its survival and stand up for you. As a successful businessman (owner of Servco Heating and Cooling), with 16 years of involvement in Pahrump and its politics, I know who and what are the problems more than most. I have not and will not waver from our goal to make Pahrump a quality place to live for all, not just for the chosen."

Kulkin believes the town should take over zoning and the building departments and return northern Nye County to Esmeralda County in order to localize control as opposed to incorporation. He believes some town employee positions need a hard look, and those that have not been effective as a means to save tax dollars.

Isabel Isherwood

Isherwood would like to change the bad business atmosphere that exists in Pahrump.

Reasons for Running:

Creating jobs will be the number one priority. The people have expressed a need for quality employment.

Ease the tax burden so we can all have an opportunity for a better life.

Create transparency in government. Folks want to see what their representatives are doing.

Keep commitments to the voters, which are all in writing as a reminder of what was promised.

Reasons for Running:

"During my short term, I wrote two Pahrump town ordinances and sponsored one. I'm probably the only nominee who wrote a PTO. There are at least six, if not more, PTOs that need to be revised with the input of the people for the betterment of the people.

"I feel the people of Pahrump have a right to speak up at the town board meetings without being put down. We need to start showing respect to the town's people.

"We need to make Pahrump more enticing for employers to come here with jobs. What do we live for, if not to make the world less difficult for each other?"

Reasons for Running:

Pawliuk's vision is to create an environment in our community where businesses and light industry can thrive and bring jobs to our valley; assure transparency in local government; control local government spending; and listening to the concerns of the citizens of the community and not just those of public sector works.
