DA's Report

The following information was provided by Nye County District Attorney Bob Beckett. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent.

The following charges were brought against adults.

* Arnold R. Aldana was charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, possession of marijuana-less than one ounce (first offense), driving without a valid license and certain unlawful acts.

* Matthew Lars Ambrosen was charged with unlawful trespass upon land.

* Jene David Louis Averill was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a controlled substance.

* Jennifer Marie Baca was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

* Christopher Daniel Badia was charged with obstructing a public officer.

* Timothy Carl Eugene Barnes was charged with two counts of battery and injury to other property.

* Gina Marie Batsford was charged with battery.

* David Lee Benner was charged with invasion of the home and battery.

* William D. Bergen was charged with petit larceny.

* Ronald William Best was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and security payment of tort liabilities required.

* Trevor Boehm was charged with battery with the use of a deadly weapon and domestic battery-second offense.

* Ronald J. Bossert was charged with embezzlement-elder enhancement.

* Cathy L. Carter was charged with grand larceny, and obtaining money under false pretenses, elder enhancement.

* Raymond A. Catron was charged with certain unlawful acts.

* Roy A. Cavill was charged with fraudulent conveyances.

* Katy Jean Cazier was charged with attempt to obtain money/goods under false pretenses.

* Antonio A. Colon was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, having an open container of alcoholic beverage within passenger area of motor vehicle while on highway and drinking alcoholic beverage while driving motor vehicle.

* Catherine Doughty was charged with battery.

* Jesus Escobedo was charged with failure to appear after admission to bail.

* James Lee Fehr was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

* Arthur Joseph Fisher III was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, certain unlawful acts, security of payment for tort liabilities required and driving while license revoked, canceled or suspended.

* Larry Forker was charged with two counts of battery.

* Lynn Harold Foster was charged with injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle.

* Oscar Antonio Friger and Daniel Thomas Grucella were each charged with two counts unlawful acts pertaining to distribution of certain controlled substances.

Kevin Lomorr Gatewood was charged with domestic battery-second offense.

* Tiffany Leigh Gaxiola was charged with domestic battery.

* Robert K. Godfrey Jr., Joseph Michael Gray, Kenneth Edward Meyer, Marx James Mace and Anna Louise Goetz were charged with battery.

* Alfred Christopher Gonzales was charged with basic speed.

* Joshua K. Green was charged with burglary, grand larceny, fraudulent use of a credit card and offense involving stolen property.

* Michael Roy Guedel was charged with driving while license canceled, suspended or revoked-DUI related, basic speed, certain unlawful acts and security for tort liabilities required.

* Michael David Healy was charged with obstructing a public officer.

* Brandon M. Hulderson was charged with violation of a temporary or extended order.

* Jennie Lee Johns was charged with embezzlement.

* Richard T. Johnson was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and vehicle entering intersection marked "stop" or "yield."

* Derek Jolley was charged with burglary and uttering a forged instrument.

* Phillip Josue was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and certain unlawful acts.

* Phillip Duane Keefer was charged with battery, burglary, home invasion and battery (strangulation).

* Robert Gordon Kocher was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol-third offense.

* Jon Michael Lindsey was charged with an offense involving stolen property.

* Andre Lamar Longmire Jr. was charged with domestic battery-first offense (strangulation).

* Nancy Lopez was charged with issuing check(s) without sufficient funds.

* Michael Larry Marsh was charged with petit larceny.

* Larry B. Marshall was charged with issuing check(s) without sufficient funds

* Colleen McCoy was charged with violation of restraining order/injunction.

* Kathy Mendoza was charged with domestic battery and attempted interception or delay of message sent over phone line.

* Kyle Miller was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Ray Murdock was charged with domestic battery.

* David Adam Nichols was charged with harassment.

* Daniel Adam Noggle was charged with grand larceny.

* Verna L. Padgett was charged with possession of a controlled substance-second offense.

* Nicholas Michael Palmer was charged with failure to appear after admission to bail.

* Billy Louis Patillo was charged with domestic battery-second offense.

* Shann Shalanda Prince was charged with indecent or obscene exposure.

* Richard Pritchard was charged with unlawful trespass and public nuisance.

* Robin Wayne Quadlin was charged with burglary and grand larceny.

* Tara Lee Ray was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

* Dawn Marie Ritchey was charged with grand larceny of a motor vehicle.

* Michael Seavey was charged with injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle.

* Anthony M. Saragusa was charged with two counts of theft, two counts of embezzlement and annoying phone calls.

* Jeffrey Alan Smith Sr. was charged with domestic battery.

* Gloria Sorenson was charged with two counts of child neglect and abuse.

* Stephen C. Southworth was charged with two counts of unlawful use of a controlled substance.

* Brian Martin Stevener was charged with domestic battery.

* Jennifer Marie Summit was charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance.

* David Anthony Tassler was charged with burglary.

* Darez Lavarion Tezeno was charged with domestic battery.

* Brett Julian Thompson was charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance.

* Torren Reed Tompkins was charged with harassment.

* Brenda Joseph Valezuela-Duran was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

* Javier Venegas Jr. was charged with issuing check(s) without sufficient funds.

* James Michael Weaver was charged with an offense involving a stolen vehicle.

* Jonathan David Wilson was charged with petit larceny.

* Richard Jay Wright was charged with obtaining money under false pretenses.

The following charges were brought against juveniles.

* Criminal contempt, assault with a deadly weapon, basic speed, offense involving stolen property, burglary, minor in need of protection, open or gross lewdness, possession of a controlled substance and sexual assault with a child under 14.

The following cases were settled in General District Court.

*Katherine Kazaar Alexander, charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance, was found guilty and is set for sentencing at 9 a.m., May 3.

* Christopher Brian Guoin, charged with invasion of the home, domestic battery-third offense and burglary, failed to appear and a bench warrant was issued.

* Shaun Brian Johnson, charged with CR5716-statutory sexual seduction, CR5739-trafficking in a Schedule I controlled substance, CR5740-possession of a controlled substance and CR5741A-trafficking in a controlled substance, was found guilty and was sentenced to five years probation.

* Danny Earnest Linville, charged with attempted murder, was found guilty and sentencing is set for 9 a.m., May 3.
