Obituaries
Jane Wisdom Jane Wisdom, 78, passed away in July of 2010, in Pahrump. She was born May 1, 1932, in Hagerstown, Md., and was a resident of Pahrump for 14 years, having come from Las Vegas. Jane was active in local and state politics, having served as State Assemblywoman for many years. During that time, she put several laws on the books for the protection of seniors. She was a member of Saved by Grace Lutheran Church, and very involved in church activities. She served as a member of the church council and head of fundraising and crafts. She was one of two people who spearheaded the building of the new church. Surviving are her son Charles Wisdom, and daughter-in-law Karen, of Santa Rosa, Calif., and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. July 18, at Saved by Grace Lutheran Church on Hawkins Way. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jane's memory to the church. Catherine Davalos Catherine Davalos (DeLuise), 22, passed away July 2, 2010, in Las Vegas. She was born May 21, 1988, in Hackensack, N.J., and was a resident of Pahrump for 19 years. Surviving are her husband Agustin "Junior;" parents Michael and Deborah DeLuise of Pahrump; sister Dina Crawford of Dallas, Texas; brothers Michael Farrell of Dallas and Nico DeLuise of Pahrump; and one child. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Burton and Ann Muller and John and Catherine DeLuise. Services will be at 11 a.m. July 9, at Pahrump Family Mortuary.
