It's likely Pahrump Town Manager Bill Kohbarger's annual performance evaluation will be eyed critically by attendees at the upcoming town board meeting that begins at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 13.

Another agenda item that will spark debate is whether the town should join with the county on a collaboration to investigate the possibility of purchasing the Kingdom Gentlemen's Club, located at the corner of Highway 160 and Homestead Road.

Expenditures to be discussed include replacing a fire engine for the town's fire department for $30,000 and whether to purchase signs to place along Highways 160 and 372 for service clubs and churches. Each sign would cost $300, for a total of $12,600.

Other agenda items include a presentation by Brian Shoemake, the designer of the town's new website. The site may be viewed at a new address: www.pahrumpnv.org.

A possible decision will be made on entering a lease agreement to place a wireless communications tower on town owned property located at the corner of Squaw Valley and Kellogg Roads.

Paula Glidden will report on a proposal for the town's fair grounds.
