The Arts & Crafts Committee for the Pahrump Fair & Festival invites all amateur artists, photographers, crafters, quilters, knitters, crocheters, gardeners and food preparers to start thinking about what you will be entering in the Pahrump Fair & Festival scheduled for Sept. 24-26.

Open cribbage tournament

There will be an American Cribbage Congress (ACC) sanctioned cribbage tournament July 30 through Aug. 1 at the Pahrump Nugget.

Players must be ACC members to participate. Membership is $15 per year.

The nine-game early bird tournament will be at 4 p.m. July 30. The 22-game main event will be at 8:30 a.m. July 31, and the nine-game consolation tournament will be at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 1.

The main event registration fee includes coffee, doughnuts, a buffet lunch and free slot play.

Special room rates and RV spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis until July 16.
